Rappers in Movies

So DMX is supposed to star in “The Bleeding” a horror/action film about a house vampires. The story is about an ex-army Ranger who is seeking revenge on the person who murdered his parents. Which then leads him to a nightclub run by vampires.

Next up we have The Game starring in “Street Kings.” A LAPD detective sets out on a quest to find the killers of his former partner.

I can see that all the rappers are trying to make in other industries but what I don’t get is why they all suck at it.

Let’s see we’ve had T.I., Nelly, and 50 Cent all star in a movie but they all sucked at it. It’s not like they sucked at playing a rich corrupt politician or something that would be out of the norm for them, but they were cast into rolls of gangsters. Something that each rapper boasts about being hella hard and from the hood so they should be good at playing the part and yet, they all suck at it.

What we need to do is forget the scripts from writers who know nothing of being a gangster and let them act it out how they would have in real life. That would be much more exciting and they would do a much better job at it.
